Hello, welcome to our glassybaby blog. My name is Nicola, the glassyblog scribe. If you've ever been to our Green Lake store in Seattle, I'm also the 'shop girl.' Can you believe we have a blog? We even have a bar code system, but, rest assured, our glassybaby gift certificates are still handmade with rubber cement, scissors, stickers and xerography.
This blog will be a kind of glassybaby journal to convey the latest glassybaby news to you. It will be a pleasure to share some charming anecodotes from life here at glassybaby...stories that bring us laughter and sometimes tears.
In fact, just last week a customer came in and took time to find the right color...Deep Sea. As we chatted, her excitement about the gift was visceral...it was a wedding gift for her 86 year old father who was to be married the following day.
