We survived the seconds sale! It was to begin at 10 a.m. sharp. At 9
a.m., a 'string of pearls' - our loyal glassybaby customers - had begun to line
the NE 72nd block (and it was a big block.). We had a fantastic day. After
customers dutifully waited in the labyrinthine line, they arrived at the front
of the line with smiles and last minute choices. We so appreciate the sweet,
understanding of our wonderful customers that day. We hope you love your 'seconds'...they
have amazing personality.
Onto customer tidbits. A gentleman came in last week and through our
chatting I learned that he has been married for 45 years. He and his wife have
11 marvelous grown children. Before they set out on a three month sojourn to

birthday surrounded by the things she loves most.... her family and friends,
artwork by Martino Hoss, and 50 glassybaby. She graciously shared her photos
with us.
