It rained today...putting a whisper of Fall in the air. Glassybaby Fall colors will arrive by the first day of Fall in mid September. I love anticipating the arriving new palette. It is a wonderful harbinger of the coming season.
However, it is still Summer, as evidenced by the 5 wedding rentals going out of the store this week. One of the rentals blended Bedford Brown, Burnt Sugar, Wet Dog, Dolphin, Deep Sea and Turquoise...it will be a stunner.
So often, customers include comments on their web orders, the text of which, often puts a kind of soul into the order. Two recent entries come to mind. One customer bought her mother 1 glassybaby for her birthday last year...this year she bought her mother 6 with the footnote to us: "After babysitting the kids for a week, she's getting a 1/2 dozen this year." Another touching entry... 5 individual glassybaby were ordered as gifts for: "...Cancer patients and people who helped with my Cancer treatment." Beyond joy, we always hope that glassybaby bring healing.
There is a new member of the glassybaby family...an 8 week old female Airedale...my husband and I got her this week...her name is Scout...and she loves you.
