My favorite tale of last week could change the well known adage to "truth is better than fiction." A wonderful couple, of Madison Valley,who breed Newfoundland pups, came in with a well researched glassybaby color list. The colors corresponded to a name. The name was that of a 1 year old Newfoundland pup. As newborns, the pups had colored collars. Glassybaby in the collar colors were being sent to the pups as a 1 year old birthday present with a note included saying: "Happy Birthday, Love Mom." Obviously the breeders still own the mother Newfoundland. Somehow she convinced them to send her babies...glassybaby. Wonderful. Here is a breakdown of pup to color: Gemma/Seattle Sunset, Tully/Creamsicle, Finn/Sapphire, Chester/Rubber Ducky, and last but not least Mora/Iris.
