This was posted to our comment box on a recent web order:
"...Greetings. I have purchased in excess of 24 glasses for myself and friends. The two in this order are going to be used as drinking glasses. So, can you please select pieces that are stable and even when placed on a table, as they will have cocktails (most likely Grey Goose, ice and an olive in them.)
This just made me smile. Our tacit warranty is stability and evenness. However, we are aware of the 'Grey Goose Effect' which does change the dimensionality of inanimate objects. Good luck. Enjoy your glassybaby glasses...so stylish.
We might need a Grey Goose and olive after our Seconds Sale...which is nigh...it takes place on Saturday, January 26th, from 10 am to 5 pm. This will be the fifth sale that I have experienced...and it has taken on a life of its own. I love that our stash of wayward glassybaby are so sought after and loved. I just hung up from a customer inquiring about the sale date. She joked about spending the night at our doorstep (I think it was a joke.) I gave her a few tips on the sale 'rules of engagement.' In a nutshell:
- arrive early with a hot latte (at least a double, if not a triple)
- bring a friend to chat with
- pay with cash or a check (the shortest line)
- and as we joke..."sharpen your elbows"
We hope that you can make it. End note. A marvelous woman came in to fetch a wedding gift for a young couple. She was inspired from a wedding gift that she and her newlywed husband had just received. They happen to be in their 70's...a second marriage for each of them. She just beamed as she described the pact with her husband to eat dinner by glassybaby candlelight every night. Wonderful.
Until Next Time, Nicola

The only thing I would add to the seconds sale advice, after going to two sales my additional advice is: bring a bag to put your loot in and leave your purse in the car. It's nice to keep your hands free :)
