It is very nuptial around here. Wedding rentals are a weekly standard and wedding gifts are boxed daily. One mother of a bride called to purchase 40 Angel and 1 True Love glassybaby. The candles would light her daughter's wedding reception with a radiant, warm, buttery, even angelic glow. At the end of the evening guests would go home with a glassybaby present. The bride, who resides in Seattle, is apparently a glassybaby 'stock holder.' Her love of our product runs deeply and exponentially. The chorus of Angel light at her wedding...her mother's perfect surprise.
As for the one True Love glassybaby, (I love this tidbit of information) the wedding caterer, celebrating his wedding anniversary on the day of this wedding, would receive the gift of a True Love glassybaby. So stylish.
Wedding bells peeled again in a phone call that I received. The inquiring customer wondered about our etched glassybaby and the various words available. Subsequently she placed an order for two etched glassybaby, one "imagine" and one "joy," a wedding present duo. A recently betrothed couple would receive this sweetly evocative gift.
Another store passage with nuptiality... We had the joy of receiving a new customer to our store (on the verge of imminent corruption as her friend and glassybaby docent suggested mirthfully.) Our new customer hails from Oregon, and although she abstained from beginning her own collection, like a pro, she carefully chose 5 red hot glassybaby for her son and daughter in law's fifth wedding anniversary present. The mix? 2 Red Licorice, 1 Patent Leather, 1 Strawberry and 1 Begonia Blossom...very romantic.
We hope that during these gorgeous summer days you get to go swimming, sleep outside, read a book under a tree, eat ice cream, maybe even get married. Happy Summer. Until Next Time, Nicola
