There is a new glassybaby drinker named Steve...as in Steve Heuring. We welcome Steve's leadership ascension to glassybaby. He is in our fold...bravely, he began December 1st. He even came with an Executive Assistant, his 12 year old dog Lucy. She is already dogged in her duties and never leaves Steve's side. And isn't it wonderful to welcome a leader who's last name phonetically mimics the word 'hearing.' A leader who hears...nice.
Part of the holiday dream team is our forever Rachel. She is sharp and can do anything with a quickness that astounds us. Now she is shadowed by her assistant Jesse. Jesse is a 6 year old, newly rescued, Dalmatian from the Lynwood PAWS. She is a darling, calm, snow ball of a dog with black spots. Because of her peripatetic new mom, Jesse has already lost 5 pounds...only 15 more to go. Welcome Jesse.
We had a mother/daughter encampment yesterday. They were down to serious business. The elder of the two was carefully choosing glassybaby for each grandchild. I love the sophisticated gift choice. Then I learned about Milo, one of the grandchildren. Apparently Milo (all of 7 years old) has an elaborate ritual of grooming his surroundings in preparation for homework time. A cup of herbal, calming tea is frequently included...however always included, before the library of his studies...is a lineup of glowing glassybaby. Smart kid.
In anticipation of cross country skiing, I have to share this hot and amusing tip of the week, provided by one of our wonderful customers. If you spray Pam on your dog's paws before taking off to ski with the dog running beside you...those ice clumps that build up on Poochie's feet are greatly diminished.
Happy Clump-free Holidays. Until Next Time, Nicola
