Amidst the crush of Mother's Day orders...Molly was celebrating a birthday in Hawaii. Last week took on a theme: birthday glassybaby for Molly. And she is well loved. And she loves glassybaby. Her brother and sister and many friends placed orders. Most were phone orders carefully inquiring about Molly's glassybaby color. The goal was not to duplicate what she has...rather to embellish with new hues and rainbow possibility. It was so sweet. I kibitzed on color with at least 3 of the callers...one call came from Molly's neighbor and new found friend for life. She described the birthday party...it was to be held at Anna's Ranch, a magical place, populated with many historic Hawaiian buildings...the space would be transformed by dozens of colorful tissue flowers, hanging from the ceiling and as Molly opened glassybaby after glassybaby...her evening would be candle lit in myriad color, and I am sorry I could not be there. Happy Birthday to Molly...who was quoted as saying: "I don't want any presents...I just want glassybaby."
A deal is cooking with canine and t-shirt ingredients and a glassybaby flair...New York is the address. For the months of July, August and September, dog walkers from the genius business in New York named: Big Paws, Little Claws, will promenade sweet pooches, in the Big Apple, wearing glassybaby t-shirts. As always blog mentioned, we love the dog and this is the height of marketing brilliance...spreading glassybaby love while strolling the pooches.
