Dear friends,
We all have individual and collective measures of time. We all have birthdays, weddings, diagnosis and others. We all grow and watch people grow. Sometimes we celebrate, and sometimes these marks in time jar us and mean change and the unknown.
At glassybaby, we are in a moment of change after five full years. Nicola Hewitt, our irreplaceable everything to everybody, has decided to move on and find a different path.
With Nic by our side, we have grown and flourished with the contributions she has made. Nic does not talk; she listens. Nic comforts with words and action. Nic spreads kindness with an open heart. Nic is tall and beautiful. Nic loves her family and friends, glassybaby and everyone who owns one. Nic is Nic.
We will embark on the next five years with the knowledge that she cannot be replaced. She leaves an enormous hole. We are all nourished by the experience of working with her, and celebrate it, and will lean into it when we need to. We will always cherish her and her Nic-ness forever.
