If you're like me, you want to know what life is like at the top!
Well look no farther. Check out Lee and her family and guides atop Mt. Kilimanjaro! Deliriously happy yet unreservedly bushed in that oh so good way that you feel when you have really gotten after it and have done it!! Those faces say it all. Congratulations intrepid mountaineers!!
Along on the climb was the heartening glassybaby 'hope' sharing its encouraging light on the seven day tented trek.
Not only did a glassybaby travel to the highest African peak last week but one also took in the sights and sounds of Paris and Amsterdam.
Here is 'joy' in the City of Light having scaled the pinnacle of the Eiffel Tower:
And here she is again blissfully illuminating the iconic Prinsengracht of Amsterdam:

Thank you and welcome aboard, Jack!
We are happy and proud to introduce our new van-baby. glassybaby-on-wheels is up and running. If you see us around town or on the road give us a little toot for good luck... and we'll know it's you!
With the return of fine summer days, I am embracing a compulsive obsession I have an attack of at about this time every year. And unabashedly I wait with longing all summer for it to appear. The diagnosis: I am a plum fool for peaches! Organic Frog Hollow peaches to be exact. I adore them; I worship at the altar of their velvety juiciness; I even forgive their peachy stains on my shirt, an obligatory by-product of my zealous down-wolfing.
The best way to enjoy them by far is, in my book, fresh. But, to paraphrase Robert Frost, nothing there is that doesn't love a good peach cobbler or crisp... a la mode!
I hope you treasure these last few days of summer while the children are small; wade in the creek and catch tadpoles; lie down in the grass and find bunnies or alligators or castles in the sky; actually walk to the store to get a popsicle; play "Clue."
And don't forget: eat outside whenever you can.
Love, hope and joy.
