About My Own Art
In my artwork I try to translate "a story" through extravagant visual
narratives. I make work that is explosive with texture and color. I
gravitate towards the "over the top" art movements of Art Nouveau and
Rococo. Inspired by the heroes of my childhood: Rainbow Brite, Pee-wee
Herman, the Care Bears and so on, I have developed my own sugar coated
language

Bio
I grew up in the south on the east coast. I call Richmond, Virginia my
hometown. I knew I wanted to go to art school from the day I found out
that you can actually go to college for art. It was there I fell in
love with glass. I graduated from VCU (Virginia Commonwealth
University), in May 2006 with a BFA. I just moved to Seattle in July
2007. I moved into a town home with two really fun glassy-girls, and
we're having a blast!
